Livestream Options Selection — Hansen Wedding Videography

You’ve Got Options!

You have many options when it comes to live-streaming your ceremony! Please read through each of the options before finalizing your decision on your form below.

Option 1) A public, searchable YouTube Link

What this means: Your livestream will be on Youtube! We will broadcast your ceremony from our YouTube account, and it will be saved as a public video on our profile. Your video is public and searchable, meaning that if we selected this option, and if someone searched for your video on YouTube a year after your wedding, it would be there! We will provide you with the link a week or two prior to the wedding date.

Option 2) A private, unlisted YouTube Link

What this means: Your livestream will be on Youtube! We will broadcast your ceremony from our YouTube account, and it will still be available after your wedding to view if anyone has the link. In order for anyone to find your video, they must have the link. We will provide you with the link a week or two prior to the wedding date. This option is for guests who are hoping for a more private option than a public link.

Option 3) The Bride or Groom’s Facebook Profile

Pretty simple! You will give us either: phone to livestream from, or your Facebook login information so that we can login from our devices. If your Facebook is on private, only your followers will be able to join. If your account is public, then you guessed it - anyone can watch! If you select this option, we can create a customized image for you to share with your followers prior to the wedding date telling them about the livestream.

Option 4) A Wedding-Specific Facebook Page

What this means: We will work with you to create a Facebook Page for your event! We will both be page admins. That way we can work things out the day of, and you can invite anyone who has a Facebook account to like the page. The week of, we will post on the page with all of the information that your guests need, and instructions on how to watch the day of.

Option 5) Hansen Wedding Videography’s Facebook Page

We can also livestream right from our Facebook page. This means that all guests would need to find our page prior to the event, in order to watch. This Facebook option is less work for you, because you do not have to help design a Facebook page, or stream from your personal profile. Our page is public, so anyone with or without a Facebook account would be able to see it.

All livestreams will be done via a GoPro connected to our laptop. This gives you a much better video quality than a webcam or phone camera. We use a mobile hotspot for our livestream services, so as long as your venue has AT&T reception, you should be good to go! This way we will not be dependent on cellular data or your venue’s wifi.

I understand that Hansen Wedding Videography will not be at fault if the hotspot connectivity at the wedding venue is not reliable (which could cause temporary interruptions in the livestream). Hansen Wedding Videography will make every effort to ensure that your livestream goes as smoothy as possible, but data can be uncertain. I understand this risk, and trust Jonny and Brooke to get the job done!
